We like to say yes, however here is a break down on cost. Stairlifts range in price. A safe price range for a straight stiarlift is $2000 to $6000 depending if the stairlift is indoor, outdoor, new or used. A curved stairlift price starts at around $10,000 and goes up depending on how many angle changes and turns your staircase has. We offer interest free financing and also accept credit cards. In most cases, its alot more affordable to install a stiarlift then move to a one level home. Installing a stairlift is also more affordable then adding a bathroom to the first level of your home.

Unfortunately, under current legislation and policies, stairlifts are not covered by health insurance or programs like MediCare or Medicaid.
Our society has some really negative beliefs about aging and health issues that affect mobility. If you’re in a position where you need to even consider a stairlift, you might be feeling embarrassed by the prospect of a perceived loss of independence or needing to accommodate a disability.“What will guests think if they see a stairlift in my home?” Ironically, stairlifts are an empowering solution to help you maintain your independence for longer, and at substantially lower cost than something like in-home care or moving into a facility. If you are having difficulty going up and down a staircase on your own, strapping into a stairlift will take a lot less energy and emotional worry than having to gingerly take each step, one at a time.Gone too will be concern from any of your loved ones about you one day falling and injuring yourself just because you were trying to move about your house. You’ll feel better knowing you can handle one of the most challenging aspects of your day-to-day life, and your family and loved ones will feel better knowing they no longer have to worry about your injuring yourself just because you’re too proud or embarrassed to ask for assistance.Stairlifts are growing more popular than ever specifically because people love to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Stairlifts are recognized around the entire world as one of the most effective ways to do so—every nine minutes, in fact, a new one is being installed somewhere.
There are many different types of staircases to be found in our homes, and stairlifts have been designed to accommodate all the different options that exist. There are straight stairlifts, curved stairlifts, multiple landing stairlifts. There are even factors such as staircase narrowness that have been taken into account. And if somehow you have a staircase that no stairlift designer has ever thought of before, there are ways to create customized lifts that will meet your needs.
The way an installation takes place depends upon the structure of your staircase, but the general practice is:1. A technician will bring all tools and equipment to your home at the scheduled appointment time. 2. The stairlift will be directly installed into your residence’s staircase. 3. The rail (or track) for the stairlift will be bolted into the ground at the top and bottom landings of the staircase, with bolts affixed ever few feet between for added security. 4. The stairlift unit will be affixed to the track and secured in based on manufacturer guidelines. In spite of the seeming large scope of this project, stairlift technicians are factory trained by manufacturers and the process of installation has been made incredibly efficient. Installation can completed within one business day—usually one-half day or less, actually. All stairlift installation technicians are bonded, insured and properly licensed.
In most cases, the answer is no. That is actually why there are so many stairlift options available—they have been designed specifically to accommodate the wide range of residential staircases that can be found around the world. In most cases, before you even purchase a stairlift and schedule the installation, a technician will visit your home to assess the staircase and make recommendations for what model would be best suited for your situation, taking into account any challenges or conflicts that might occur with a particular model and the structure of your home.
Stairlift units themselves screw directly into your steps and do not attach to walls. Depending on the model, only minimal structural changes will need to be made, such as making drill holes that would later need to be patched. However, it should be noted that even if you have carpet on the stairs and later decide to remove the stairlift from the staircase, there will be little to no evidence there was one ever installed. Your technician will be able to answer this question in more depth as they discuss the different models available for your home. We also offer repair services built-in to the cost of the de-installation.
One of the biggest costs of stairlifts after the initial purchase is the inevitable scheduled maintenance. This should be considered deeply before making the decision of which stairlift to purchase. Each manufacturer has their own recommended maintenance schedules, which also depend on the particular model in question.During a maintenance check up, the technician will ensure that the unit is operating properly and make any necessary adjustments. At the time of service We normally recommend a battery replacement. In addition to ensuring safety, the technician will also be aiming to make any tune-ups and adjustments to keep the stairlift operating as smoothly and quietly as possible.Estimate about an hour for a full service appointment.
